The University is one of the largest in Scotland with over 14,000 students and has invested £45 million in creating one of the most modern campuses in Scotland. There are twenty-four academic departments based within three faculties. The three faculties are:

Faculty of Health
Faculty of Science and Technology
Glasgow Caledonian University pioneered the UK introduction of degrees in Risk Management and Entrepreneurial Studies, based within the Caledonian Business School, and has one of the largest and most comprehensive Health Faculties in the UK for the professions allied to medicine.
