It has undergone a £100 million investment programme, doubling the airport's capacity from 5.5 million to 10 million passengers a year.
Situated 23 miles south west of Glasgow city centre, journey time into the city centre is approximately 30 minutes and there is a direct rail link.
Glasgow is now considered a major Northern Gateway within the UK. Glasgow is a 50 minute drive from Edinburgh airport.
