Would you like to learn more about accessing NIH and other major US Funding Sources for your research? Are you interested in learning tips on writing a successful research proposal? If so, the ‘International Funding from US Agencies’ seminar could be of benefit to you.


Professor Bill Schweri, Director of Federal Relations and Sponsored Program Development in the Office of the Vice President for Research at the University of Kentucky, will present this seminar to raise awareness of the International funding available to academics from agencies within the US.

Who Should Attend?


The seminar is open to all Faculties, however, it may be of most interest to those from IBLS, the Medical School and the Vet School, particuarly those who are interested in receiving NIH funding. The presentation may also be of interest to researchers in other Faculties, especially Physical Sciences and Engineering.

Objectives of the Seminar:


Professor Schweri will present on the major US funding sources for an hour and an interactive Question & Answer session will follow. He will advise on the best methods of writing research proposals to the NIH and help you to understand the importance of conforming to the content and layout rules when submitting your proposal.
