CHARITY ABSEIL RAISES £12,500 FOR NEW SMALL ANIMAL HOSPITAL

110 fearless supports each contributed to the raising of £10, 000 when they took part in a charity abseil on Sunday 10 October to raise money for the new Small Animal Hospital at the Vet School.

Amongst participants were a team of 8 from Starbucks Coffee, a woman aged 80 and local eminent businessman Douglas Hutchison, a graduate of the University's Vet School, who subsequently went on to build up the country's leading veterinary publishing company. Douglas took part in the abseil wearing his very own dog suit which was bought over popular website e-bay.
