Scottish Biomedical announces the appointment of Michaela Shahid as European Business Development Manager, with immediate effect.
As well as growing the business in Europe, Michaela's responsibilities will include managing and developing our existing European client base.
Michaela's move in to the commercial environment with Pharmacia Biotech came after spending several years in research at both Cambridge University and Glasgow University. From Pharmacia Biotech she took up the position of European Brand Manager for Life Technologies in their European Headquarters in Glasgow. Michaela then moved to Roche Diagnostics as Senior Market Manager where she remained for almost four years before joining the Scottish Biomedical Business Development Team.
Commenting on the appointment, Simon Bury, Business Development Director said, "Michaela brings over 15 years commercial experience in sales and marketing to the company and is a welcome asset to the team at Scottish Biomedical. We are delighted to have her on board to support the company's growth in Europe".
