Scottish Enterprise announce John Chiplin as CEO of Life Science Intermediary Technology Institute. Chiplin - a former senior executive at MDL, Biosym Technologies and Newstar Partners - is relocating from California to take up the post.
Scottish Enterprise is creating ITIs to increase business research and development in Scotland in key global market sectors. They will help develop Scotland as a world renowned centre of expertise in
technology, allowing businesses to be globally competitive. It's also hoped they will increase the number of high growth technology companies in Scotland over the long term.
