Call goes out for technology sectors 50 fastest growing firms
Leading professional services firm Deloitte has launched its 2005 Fast 50 programme in Scotland, in a bid to find the countrys 50 fastest growing technology companies.
The awards, which take place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on Thursday 3 November, will also feature a special award for life sciences in recognition of the excellence that exists within this sector in Scotland.
In 2004 the, then called, biotech award was presented to Ardana Bioscience Ltd. The pharmaceutical company which specialises in reproductive health products could be looking to make it a hat-trick after also winning the award in 2003.
Neil Cruickshanks, head of technology at Deloitte in Scotland, said: The life sciences award is a great addition to our Fast 50 programme. The life sciences sector in Scotland has never been stronger and more Scottish companies are leading the way on the global stage.
The future is bright for this industry and its important that we recognise the efforts of those involved and this award provides an ideal platform to do so.
