Inaugural Conference

24 November 2005 TBC
Inaugural Conference

The conference of informatics, engineering and biology can bring a greater understanding of disease pathways. Taking a systems perspective to biological mappings helps to understand functional changes with biomedical relevance. This international conference will focus on real applications of systems biology at the forefront of: Biomedical Research: including genomic and proteomic profiling, bioinformatics mapping techniques and pathway analysis using RNAi. Drug discovery: including target validation, mapping target/compund interactions, toxicogenomics and clinical trial design. Clinical Medicine: including patient management, clinical data analysis and understanding the fundamental mechanisms of disease

The conference will take place at the University of Edinburgh Medical School at the New Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
